How to use it
Enter your date of birth and the “age as on” date given in the notification (for example 1 August 2026). Add the minimum and maximum age to check eligibility; for the maximum, add your category relaxation (for example OBC +3 years, SC/ST +5 years, if the notification allows it).
How exam age is counted
Age is counted in completed years on the cutoff date. If the upper limit is 27 years, you are usually eligible until the day before your 28th birthday falls on or before the cutoff. Notifications state this as a range of birth dates; the tool shows that range when you enter both limits.

Questions
What if I was born on 29 February?
In non-leap years your birthday is treated as 1 March, so you complete a year on 1 March. The tool follows this rule.
Does the tool know my category relaxation?
No. Relaxation differs by exam, so add it to the maximum age yourself using the figures in your notification.
Is my date of birth saved?
No. The calculation runs on your device and nothing is stored or sent anywhere.
